The KRT-480 seed pelleting machine is specially developed for tiny and irregular seeds, such as pepper, tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, leaf lettuce, tobacco and so on. These seeds are small, light and irregular. Manual sowing wastes seeds, results in uneven distribution, and requires heavy manual thinning at the later stage. The seed pelleting machine completely solves the challenges of sowing small seeds.

The seed pelleting machine consists of three parts: a main pelleting host, a pulse dust collector and an automatic feeding elevator.

The pelleting host is equipped with a 7-inch control screen with a Siemens control system. It features strong logic, stable operation and precise control. The machine has a high degree of automation. No frequent manual intervention is needed during the whole process. It is easy to start and stop with adjustable parameters, which greatly reduces manual operation errors and enables standardized mass production.

It also supports formula memory function. We will input our pelleting experience accumulated over nearly a decade for you, eliminating tedious proportioning work later and cutting manual involvement. Formulas can be modified as required.

Working process of the seed pelleting machine: Turn on the power switch and pour seeds into the pelleting drum. The seeds spin at high speed inside. Pelleting powder, water and seeds are fully mixed and wrapped layer by layer, so every single seed gets an even coating. When the pelleted seeds reach the required size, stop powder and water feeding, then discharge the seeds.

Freshly pelleted seeds contain plenty of moisture and need timely drying. Otherwise, seeds may germinate prematurely or deform under compression.
During drying, pelleted seeds are kept under low-temperature conditions with a gradual temperature rise drying method. This prevents seeds from losing vitality due to excessive temperature and avoids cracking on the seed coating surface in drying. It ensures the integrity and hardness of seeds remain intact. Pelleted seeds gain improved stress resistance, reduce pest and disease damage, and are supplied with nutrients and moisture.

Pelleted seeds are perfectly compatible with both mechanical sowing and plug seedling raising. They greatly cut seed waste and lower the cost of manual sowing. Seeds emerge uniformly and bring higher yields.
