Low-temperature protective seed pelleting facilitates efficient seedling production.

As modern agriculture advances, the cost of vegetable seeds has risen steadily. Achieving mechanized, precision sowing for these tiny, irregularly shaped seeds has become a significant challenge.

In response to this need, Hebei Kairuote has developed an automated seed pelleting machine specifically designed to address the difficulties associated with the precision sowing of small, irregular seeds.

En granuladora de semillas processes these seeds by coating them to increase their size, weight, and uniformity, thereby enabling mechanized precision sowing.

This system comprises a complete set of pelleting equipment, including the main pelleting unit, a pulse dust collector, and an automatic loading lift.

The main unit of the pelleting machine is equipped with a 7-inch smart control screen that enables precise, real-time monitoring of powder and water supply. It incorporates over a decade of pelleting formula expertise, and formulas can be adjusted later to meet your specific requirements, thereby eliminating complex mixing procedures and saving on labor costs.

The machine operates using ultra-high-speed centrifugal granulation; seeds remain suspended during the process, ensuring uniform coating for every seed and achieving a single-seed rate of over 98%.

Seed pelleting involves more than just applying a powder coating; crucially, it ensures that seed viability remains unimpaired.

Seed viability is ensured through the following measures: 1. The entire pelleting process is conducted at low temperatures. 2. The pelleting powder used is water-soluble and disintegrates readily, ensuring no adverse effect on seed germination rates. 3. Pelleted seeds undergo low-temperature drying. These steps guarantee that seed viability remains intact.

En granuladora de semillas is a versatile piece of equipment capable of meeting the pelleting needs of various crops, including chili peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, lettuce, carrots, and tobacco.

We have consulted with many growers; taking carrots as an example, traditional manual broadcasting requires approximately 200g of seed per mu, whereas pelleted seeds require only 100g—a saving of 30% to 50%. It also eliminates the cost of manual thinning later on, while ensuring uniform emergence and high yields.

Pelleted seeds feature uniform size and excellent flowability. With one seed per cell, they are perfectly suited for mechanical sowing or tray-based seedling production. Additionally, the coating provides nutrients and moisture, reduces pest and disease damage, and enhances the seed’s stress resistance.
